The EiA Vision

EiA’s vision is based on the passionate belief that academic, vocational and core skills,whilst critically important, are not enough to ensure that young people emerge into the working world with the best chance of maximising their potential. We believe that increasing the economic engagement of young people can be achieved by driving the 3 E’s:

Education

Improving the return on investment, so that students leaving school/college have greater aspirations, having achieved improved results while in education and had the chance to develop the core soft skills and mindset required for employment and higher education.

Employment

Encouraging young people to think about opportunities and reducing the number of NEETs. Creating role models for the local community - young people who have gone on to jobs not normally expected of their age group or background and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.

Entrepreneurship

Delivering more young people with the confidence to set up businesses and back their ideas, which previously they thought impossible. Creating jobs for local people and developing positive role models for students and young people.
