14-19 Diploma Launches

We are excited by the new 14-19 diplomas and would like to help you attract young people by providing a one-day launch event that includes a range of activities and a business challenge

Summary

Our vision is to bring the industries involved in a Diploma Line into vivid focus for the young people who are considering taking it as a Level 1, 2 or 3 option. The one or two day event is designed to bring alive the various career opportunities within diploma industries.

What we offer

Students will have the chance to hear exactly what the careers are like directly from business leaders who will share their experiences during an interactive question and answer session. During the day the students will be involved in an enterprise challenge to give them a taste of what they can expect in their chosen sector. Working in teams they will look to solve a business problem, having the opportunity to present their ideas and then gain feedback from a panel of industry professionals, in a gentle Dragon's Den style.

This will help them start to understand the competitiveness of the employment market, and the skills needed to stand out. It will also provide the perfect platform for introducing the benefits of the 14-19 Diploma to them, and their invited parents, and demonstrate how the course can provide an effective route into employment.
