Kay Kete, Key Stage 4 Manager for Castle Community College, talks to Derek Browne about the colleges' experience of our A Future Built On Sport project. The project involved students taking part in a week long residential programme where they utilised enterprise skills to build upon their sporting talent.
Ms. Kete notes the increased morale of students upon completion of the project as well as the improvement between pupil and teacher relationships. Furthermore, the students exerience of enterprise skills correlated with a renewed focus on the importance of work deadlines and what it takes to succeed not just at school but in their future careers.
